Golden Fox

Foundation paper piecing; an entirely new chapter of quilting. Is it for everyone, no. Is it for me everytime I quilt, nope. Do I want to do more of it, absolutely.

A big undertaking for one of my first attempts at actually doing a full paper pieced pattern. While I don’t think I could do a full quilt with only FPP, an occasional break from traditional piecing is fun.

When choosing the fabrics for this sweet guy, I leaned into the same fabric choices or similar ones that I used for Miss Foxy, the shop mascot stuffy. This is probablly one of my top 10 projects of all times.

Absolutely adore the finished project. The pattern was so well done and easy to follow. Time consuming and not one of those rush projects, but so worth it.
