Flower Girl

My children had the most wonderful babysitter from the time my son was just over a year old, until we moved to Oregon in 2017. And by wonderful, I mean, THE best. She has 2 of her own children, older than mine, and when I found out they were having babies, needed to get a special gift for the occasion.

Both, ended up having girls, and this was for one of those sweet babies.

Dark denim blue and bright/soft pinks, combined into a simple 9-patch block and a variation of a log cabin, with an extra large starting quare, laid out to get get this chevron-ish type pattern.

Super simple straight line quilting, and backed with soft fleece for a cozy and warm quilt.
