2025 Jelly Roll Day – September

It is lots of fun to join in online sew alongs. One of the annual events that comes in September is “Jelly Roll Day” – many online shops and quilters spend the day sewing with Jelly Rolls.

For the 2025 Jelly Roll Day, I joined in on the Fat Quarter Shop sew along. They provided a free pattern that used only 1 jelly roll – I picked one out of my stash.
Instead of purchasing something matching for the backing, I found a minky type blanket in the closet that hadn’t been used anytime recently and it was the perfect size.

Simple straight line quilting and it was done.

This one is my office quilt. It’s soft, cozy and brings a little bit of my heart into the office.
